Carsington 7+ welcomes the best runners from around the country to compete in this race. Carsington 7+ will be offering complimentary entries to any runner who has met the elite criteria. Please click here for further information.
On entering the race, we ask all runners to input their estimated time taken to complete 7.5 miles. If you need help calculating your time, please click here.
Closing date: Thursday 11th May 2023, 11pm or when race is full (individual Carsington 7+ only). Race limit = 600 Entrants.
No entries accepted on the day
Enter and finish the Carsington 7+ to receive a special medal. Finishers’ t-shirts may be purchased separately for collection on race morning.
The Carsington 7+ will follow a route starting and finishing close to the Carsington Water Visitor Centre. The course will take runners on a full clockwise circuit of the reservoir, taking in spectacular, and (we hope) sunny views across the water and the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. We welcome everyone over 16 who wants to run whatever their ability or experience.
Transfers
To apply for a transfer of your race number to a friend or family member, please contact us during the transfer window of 13th-26th April 2023 with your name and the name and email address of the new entrant that you wish for your entry to be transferred to. We also need to know whether they are affiliated to a running club so that we can factor in any addition unaffiliated fees if applicable. Transfer requests must be sent by the existing entrant. Transfer requests must only be sent between 13th-26th April 2023 during which all transfers will be processed and confirmed by email. The whole transfer process must be completed by 5pm on Wednesday 26th April 2023. There is a £3.00 administration fee, plus any additional unaffiliated fees, which are payable online by the transfer deadline. New entrants must agree to the terms and conditions before taking the transfer.
